The 2008 Race has been Postponed

I`m sorry to announce that the race will have to be postponed. I have been in constant contact with the Corp of Engineers about water levels.

They had told me that the water level should be in the 40,000 cfs by race time which was great. They are now saying that the water level this weekend will peak at 140,000 cfs and will not be down by race day.

I will have to work with the city to find a new date. I have thought about a fall race,maybe a pre-Phatwater race to help get ready for that race . I will contact everyone as soon as I get a date worked out.

Again I am sorry but safety is our main concern.
